Old style 50's motel with just the absolute minimum in basics. Paint just doesn't mask the need for updating. If all you want is a bed for the night and a shower in the morning, this will fit the bill. The "breakfast" is served in the tiny office, and was not inviting nor worth visiting. The watered down OJ was the clue for me to not go further. We were MUCH more pleased with a cup of coffee and and a breakfast meal at the local MacDonalds. We paid $* for a Saturday night, so our expectations were much higher. Having paid much less in Providence, RI the night before for a much nicer hotel. Maybe it's what the Berkshires pull this time of year.

Convenient location with Stockbridge, Lee, Lenox and Pittsfield just minutes away. Staff extremely pleasent and helpful. At checkin, we were asked if we wanted a coffee maker in our room and were presented with a full size coffee maker, a 13 ounce can of Folgers and all related items. Pool is unheated. We had an efficiency unit at the basic rate. It contained a 12 cubic foot frig, a 4 burner range top, kitchen sink, dishes and microwave. AC was adequate. Wireless internet is free and easy to conntect to. Older motel style with parking in front of your door but it is set on a hillside and far enough away that traffic noise is not an issue. Not worried about safety too much, there is a MA State Police Station across the street. We bring extra pillows from home and the staff put pillowcases on our pillows when they made up the room. Very happy with the enitre exerience and saved between $* - $* or night stay over nearby Econolodge, etc. Only downside was that bed was double and not queen.

It was clean and it looks like a family manages it. I was out most of the day and wasn't looking for a place to entertain me. -
Nice clean place for the price

Staff is very helpful. Rodeway is at the low end of the hotel business so the room equipment (beds, tv, lighting, etc.) was as expected, old. The hotel is very clean however and the outside areas are immaculate. Nice view. Would certainly stay again. If you're looking for marriot-courtyard class hotel, this isn't it.

The hotel is not a huge hotel, its a 23 room, hotel run by a family. It is well maintained, and has all the amenities that a bigger, more branded hotel. The pool is very bueatiful and is located on top a hill. the setting on the hill makes is not as noisy as the other hotels in the town. The room was very clean. At check out told the owner that the room was very clean and i enjoyed my stay, and found out the it was a gold award winner for the hospitality industry in 2006. and it deserves it. Will Be back next year X!!!
