  We spent two nights were at the Lodge. We reserved a lower priced (relatively) cabin. We had several problems which the staff dealt with, but which are worth sharing. o First Day. We were there on the first day of operations, and the lodge needed a better check list before it opened. At check in, the hotel computer system, tried to charge my bill to someone else's account. It too was on its first day. Trying to correct this crashed the workstation. It took about an hour to correct. Later in the evening, the desk person sent her apologies along with a small pair of binoculars. Nice touch. o Lights. In the evening, we had a great meal in the grill and then walked to our cabin. When we got to our area, we found all the walkway lights on our cabin's side out. We called the desk who did send a maintenance person out. o Cold Water. In the morning, my wife discovered that the hot water was tepid making a shower difficult. She called the desk which offered to move us to the next cabin over, but did not know if the water was any hotter! We asked for a better solution and were moved into a nice room with a spectacular view. o Rooms. My wife and I disagree on this. I say the cabin was decorated when LBJ was in the White House. She thinks its Regan. Regardless, they are due for a makeover. The rooms have no microwave, frig or radio which would be a safety improvement.
