Needed a place to stay on a Philly - Florida drive with my family. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, and have come to have low expectations of the ones right off major highways. This Holiday Inn changed my mind; good size rooms, wireless internet, nice (small) restaurant and bar, flat screen TVs (even in the dining room for kids), etc...

We were VERY pleased w/Holiday Inn Santee. Although it is advertised as not being pet friendly, they DO allow pets which was GREAT! The room was terrific. VERY clean! No hair in the tub or on the bathroom floor. The sheets AND comforters were changed daily, not just the sheets as in many hotels (yuk). The children loved the flat screen TV that was in our room. The hotel restaurant made dining convenient although there were many other choices to choose from within walking distance of the hotel. We will definitely stay at the HI on our next trip to Santee!!

Best Holiday Inn close to an interstate ever ! Staff very nice. Room was great ! Very nice decor and clean. Only issus was that pet rooms were obooked up and pet hotels.com did not communicate well with the hotel.
