We arrived at the hotel and proceeded to the desk to check-in. I was told that I did not have a reservation. Even after presenting my credit card and later a confirmation number. I was told that I didn't have a reservation. Although the rooms were originally reserved by another individual, I had personally called, given a credit card, and had a room transferred into my name and was given a confirmation number (or so I thought!). Normally, I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to find another room in Pittsburg, but we, like several hundred other families, were in town for Subdistrict Kids wrestling. Our family of 4 finally got a room at another hotel with one bed and a recliner. Later, we found out we were not the only people who's reservations were screwed-up by the Econolodge. The worst part was how the people at the desk acted like we were the first people they had heard this from (I talked to 2 other families who were there prior to us, so the hotel management acting like they'd never heard of this and couldn't believe it had happened--all completely fake!) They also were not the least bit apologetic, took no responsibility for the error, and offered no help whatsoever! Stay away from this place!
