We booked our hotel room based on other reviews on Travelocity and are glad we did. It is a very nice hotel. All rooms have some sort of view of the ocean. The rooms are are very nice and the beds are comfy. So go for it, you won't be sorry.

I am a hotel snob and was initially very concerned when I pulled up to this hotel. While the building(hotel) is old, the inside of the hotel has been completely updated. The rooms are spacious, clean, and includes nice decor(flat screen TV etc). If you are traveling for business, WI-FI is offered at no charge and the room's desk is relatively large. The beds are extremely comfortable, foam pillows are offered, and bed linens seemed new. The bathroom has granite countertops and Tile flooring also. The only drawback to this hotel is its location. While the hotel is located on the Beach, there are very few restaurants/shopping in the area. If you are a hotel snob like me, you will not be disappointed with this hotel.

Wanted get away, choose city and hotel because of the Travelzoo special pricing - HAD the time of my life; May 09. Hotel is beautiful, clean and located convenient to everything. Loved the pool, beach and staff. Everyone was very attentive to our needs. Breakfast buffet was fabulous... Only problem was there are fewer poolside chaise lounges than people, we had to get up early and save our chairs, then go back get dressed, have breakfast and then return. But once we understood the drill, no problem. Even though it rained 50% of our vacation there was plenty to do outside the pool and beach in the area. A must do is visit the local casinos, Madi Gras and Seminole Hard Rock... Loved the hotel and time sooo much I'm returning next month (July 09)

My wife, 2.5 year old daughter, and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel itself is quite nice and well maintained, although the pool area is rather small and was crowded at times (hard to find an empty lounge chair). You are separated from the beach only by a very nice paved walkway which runs along the entire beach. And the beach is beautiful, of course. The town of Hollywood, FL is much quieter and less developed than Miami and Fort Lauderdale, so if you're looking for a glitzy experience with nightlife, this is probably not your best option. If you're looking for a quiet weekend getaway with the family on the beach, this is a good choice.

I wanted a few days to relax at the beach. Every room has a balcony with a view of the beach. Only a wonderful paved walking and biking path separates the hotel from the beach. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The parking is free and very secure. I definitely plan to go back to this hotel. Thank you Travel agency for helping me find this hotel!
