I booked my reservation online and was amazed by the pictures of this newer hotel. The pictures do not do the hotel justice. The warmth of the lobby is only exceeded by the caring professionals working in this luxurious hotel.
I made my reservation knowing that the check-in time was 4:00pm. We arrived a little early and hoped to get in before 4:00 but understood if it could not happen. To my joy we were able to check-in at 2:45pm which meant we could enjoy more time around town.
Our room faced the river and overlooked the city. We had one of their Jr. Suites which features a King Bed, a Queen Sofa and 2 TV's. The Bathroom works as a partition so we were free to feel some privacy while our children were on the sofa sleeper. The room also had a microwave oven, coffee maker and fridge.
The fire alarm went off during our stay due to someone overcooking popcorn in their room. Much to my surprise the hotel manager came to the hotel from home and stayed while the city Fire Department looked everything over. He made sure we were all warm by having us stay in the lobby and breakfast room; he made extra coffee and hot chocolate for the kids in the hotel and made us realize just what great guest service is all about. This man truly know what the word hospitality means.
I recommend this hotel to everyone I talk to and we will be going back again soon!!! -

This beautiful hotel is 2 years old but looks and feels brand new. The lobby is beautifully decorated and is incredibly inviting. The General Manager actually works the Front Desk and greets you with a warm & sincere smile. He has arranged for discounts at many local restaurants and businesses. The Front Desk agents give you a list of notes that explain the hotel's policies that is extremely helpful when travelling with children. I had a river view room that overlooked downtown Seaside as well. I will definitely be back!!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for two nights. When we checked in and got to are room. We found out that the toilet did not work. And also the dvd player in the room did not work. Then the fier alarm whent off and there were smoke on the third floor . The fier alarm did not work well. Manager did not seem to care much at the time. I would try a different Hotel first before I check into this one.

Nice, new facilities; perhaps the nicest place in town... just a bit ""plain"" in the room decor. Absolutely would not consider granting an early check-in. One block off the ""main drag"" and three blocks from the beach... an ideal location. Kids loved it.
