  I have stayed at American Best Value Inn twice, hoping the second time would be better. No such luck. The people are friendly. The following things did not work in my room: remote control for TV, light bulbs missing, toilet didn't flush right, problems with shower and drain, sink drain slow, carpet stained, cracked or peeling paint, pillows were as thin as towels, towels as thin as a sheet, soda machine broken, washer and dryer for guests broken. I will attempt to find alternative housing next time in Beeville.
