I'm sure in its day, this was the place to be in Veracruz. Although clean, the hotel just needs updated. The gardens and terraces are beautiful, as is the overall architchure of the hotel; its just that a pressure washer and some paint would make a huge difference. The massage and spa were great, the swimming pools looked good. The beach is probably the best in Veracruz, but that is not saying much. I would stay again if I had to go to Veracruz on business but I would not plan a vacation there.

This hotel is 70 years old. Lucy and Desi might have had a good time there in 1952, however, between the old everything which has not been maintained, the antique gym equipment, the sewer running open into the ocean on the beach, the deserted beach pavillion which is something out of a horror movie, and last but not least, strange animals in the walls, this place is a complete disaster and needs to be CLOSED.

This hotel is 70 years old. Lucy and Desi might have had a good time there in 1952, however, between the old everything which has not been maintained, the antique gym equipment, the sewer running open into the ocean on the beach, the deserted beach pavillion which is something out of a horror movie, and last but not least, strange animals in the walls, this place is a complete disaster and needs to be CLOSED.
