This is a small hotel. The rooms appear to have been remodeled and refurbished. The staff was very friendly. They offer a very nice continental breakfast, and are located in the heart of the Blowing Rock business district, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. My only complaint, and the reason why we won't be likely to stay here again, is that the bed was very soft. I am used to a firm bed, so is my husband. I slept OK, he did not.

I'm quite impressed with the Inn. I put this trip together at the last minute using travel website. I picked this hotel for price and location and crossed my fingers. I have been very pleased. The grounds are clean and quaint. The office is pleasant and friendly. I was placed in an efficiency which is one side of a duplex on the property. It has a main room with a hall way leading to the bath, a closet and a kitchen. The kitchen is very modern and has turned out to be a fun way to save some money. The decor is top rate, there is a flat screen TV and free internet. I wonder if they made a mistake or if this was the last room in the Inn. I feel like I'm getting a heck of a lot for what I'm paying. In addition to the free internet, breakfast is free. It is continental. The bagels and milk are fresh and the coffee is hot, so this is good. I haven't been around for the wine and cheese, but I was invited. Blowing Rock is a wonderful town. I've met some really nice folks. The shopping is great and its close to Boone and Sugar Mtn...both of which I've been happy to visit! So...yea for the hotel!!

Lovely little hotel, just blocks from Main Street dining and shopping. Very clean, with flatscreen TV, fridge. Rooms on the small side, but with brand new, luxurious decor. Our only complaint is that the office (which is also VERY nice, with a lovely lounge), is not open until 8:30am, which makes early check-out impossible. We stayed on a weekend, but apparently on weekdays they have continental breakfast and once a week hold wine and cheese parties in the afternoon. VERY reasonable price for such a nice place. Would definitely stay there again, as soon as possible!
