We visited the Best Western in Thermopolis Nov. 10, 2009, during the quiet,off season. It was wonderful. You practically have all the hots springs locations to yourselves. There is a Free small soaking pool @ the Hotel, and the City pool, also free, is within walking distance. Deer are everywhere! The Hotel has been historically restored....small,quaint and quiet! A great little hotel, in a scenic western area! Comfortable beds, clean updated rooms, very helpful staff!

The hotel was spotless!! The manager really cares about his hotel. Walk to mineral State bath (free) , pools or just enjoy the hotels own mineral spa. Park and river front makes this a great place when you do not want to drive anywhere. Go next door to the Holiday Inn to eat at the Safari or to the bar for the best wings I have had.

This is a historic hotel built in the early 1900s. Since it was built before the Hot Spings State park was formed, it was grandfathered in. They are allowed to use water from the hot springs for the hot tub. The rooms are large, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of water pressure and heat. Continental breakfast is the same at most BW. There's no resteraunt on premises, but it's a quick walk to the one accross the street. They're located within walking distance to the public bath house and water park.
We had a great experience and would reccommend it highly. -
