This place was great!. The customer service was amazing. I was upgraded for free to a King Suite with a Balcony and Beachfront View, I got a complementary breakfast, and coupons for 1/2 priced drinks at the lounge at a VERY reasonable price (I consider myself frugal but this was ridiculously cheap). It was a very romantic scene on the waterfront at the Edge of the Harbor with a Beach and outdoor pool within walking distance. They also have an indoor pool, with a Jacuzzi, and a Co-Ed Sauna. I loved my stay, I had my favorite Crab Cakes there (and they didn?t come out with our Entree) Our Waiter, who was also our Bartender later on in the evening, could not have been nicer. He recommended the York Inn for a late night snack (also within walking distance) because the Bar/ Restaurant at the Stage Neck Inn closed at around 8pm on a Sunday. The York has what seemed like a Pub in the ""Cellar"" area and the food was yummy. It was nice to slink back to the Stage Neck Inn where it was quiet and I could get some sleep. We will be coming back and I would recommend this place to my friends and family. This was off season; I was told by staff that the Stage Neck Inn is a busy place from Memorial Day to Columbus Day.

Stage Neck is truly the best. We have stayed else where but never quite found what you have to offer. Your over all package is un beatable. We love the atmosphere of the dining area and lounge, the cleanliness, the friendly staff and beautiful grounds. I am planning a surprise getaway for my husband. I know a weekend to Stage Neck Inn would be the best present for him (and me :) Thank you!

Our appetizers and main course arrived all together, leaving the entrees to go cold.The food was not what we ordered. The waiter was told that the order was incorrect; later the manager came over to apologize. We assumed that the he had made an adjustment to the check, so were surprised when our bill for the full amount was presented.We did not complain at Stageneck. We live here in town, and will not be repeat customers, and would certainly not recommend it to friends or family coming into town.

This was a wonderful place to stay. We found it as an alternative to staying in Portsmouth, NH. It is on the ocean and in the off-season very reasonable. Used the indoor pool and sauna. Other amenities (outdoor pool, tennis, beach) are more seasonal. Very enjoyable stay. Staff very nice. Gorgeous property
