  We went for a wedding and wished we could have stayed for an entire week. only encountered 1 rude employee out of hundreds. check-in was painless, food good, beautiful ...

  We went for a wedding and wished we could have stayed for an entire week. Only encountered 1 rude employee out of hundreds. Check-in was painless, food good, beautiful surroundings. Got upgraded and free room service because of late arrival...will return again soon. I call it a land cruise...you have all the same services without the bar bill at the end.

  Barcelo colonia tropical combined with barcelo capella is the nicest place i have ever been to. the employees where very nice and this place has the best service to offer.

  Situated across the street from the capella, where you use the dining/activities/beach, the colonia has great, private rooms w/ a separate pool. a quiet retreat from the action.
