Arba at Ashar is the old name for Arbatax, in Sardinia, set along the eastern coast which is an island intact within the Island. It’s an Arab word and means the fourteenth tower, the fourteenth of those towers which stood sentinel along the coast to check Saracen invasions. A four-star hotel in the centre of Arbatax, near the tourist harbour. It is open year-round and has 45 double rooms, all with en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, direct telephone, internet connection, hi-fi, fridge bar, safe and TV.
