  I planned on spending one night but spent two. I didn't expect much from Sligo or the hotel but was pleasantly surprised by both. The town is charming and the hotel is convenient and beautiful. The restaurant was very good and the staff was exceptional. The hotel is very clean and well decorated, the rooms were large and comfortable. Clarion can be proud of this hotel. The only negative is that our room was very far from the lobby and restauant, I needed the exercise anyway but for some it could be a hike.
