We've been staying at a few of the Hampton Inn's on our 3-week fly/drive trip this year. This Hampton Inn, although not new, is clean, the mattresses are maybe not your own, but are adequately comfortable. The hotel in general, is clean; the service personnel are friendly. This hotel had one of the better inclusive breakfasts we have had on our trip. The lady providing the breakfast was adequately proud of her work and quite polite. This hotel was apparently booked full the night we stayed with them, causing parking to be at a premium in walking distance, although not a problem.

I have travelled along I-40 and stayed in Gallup often. Of the several places I've stayed, this is the best. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. It is away from the noise and problems of downtown. The only problem I encountered was the distance to restaurants. I plan to stay here next time I have to overnight in Gallup.

Average Hampton Inn, but nothing special. It's an older Hampton Inn but well taken care of. The room was clean and beds comfortable but the bathroom could use a good cleaning. It was clean but at the same time not real clean. The first water out of the tap was yellow and that's probably why there was a gray ring around the toilet bowl. Check in was easy and the clerk friendly but he wouldn't suggest any eating places within the immediate area, not the best neighborhood. He suggested going to the exit four miles up the road where there were numerous eating places plus what looked like a brand new Hampton Inn. I think the next time I would try the newer Hampton in Gallup on exit 20, which is a nicer area with numerous dining places. Also no wireless internet which wasn't all that import
