I stayed at the Inn in November 2008. There were no amenities that you would expect to find at an Inn---no coffee/teas, etc and cookies set out at night. No continental breakfast in the AM. They offered coffee, tea, or milk in the AM only. Also, when I checked out, the bill was more than the online agency guaranteed. Since I had read the previous reviews, I was aware that they might do this. The Inn-keeper told me that it was a gratuity for their staff. I simply told her that I would prefer to pay the guaranteed rate and she removed it from my bill. (I did not have any staff do anything for me--so why should I pay a blanket gratuity). The bed was very comfortable--I had read in their Bio, which they have in each room, that they had recently purchased nice pillow top mattresses. They are quite proud of themselves as their bio goes on and on about their pedigrees---but good service is lacking. Also, very limited channels on TV---and when the neighbor's alarm clock went off at 5AM, it woke me---he kept pushing the snooze button (reminded me of our kids). :) But I was up!! So just remember that when you are at an Inn---its like being at home--except nothing is free here---no snacks, no breakfast---but you get added charges.

This is an adorable property!! Very small and friendly - about 20 rooms. The dining room is amazing with a menu that exceeds expectations. Just minutes from Kennebunk Port where you will pay alot more!!! Very easy access off 95. Rooms are spotless - bathrooms are small, however, this is a very old building!! Loved the free wifi!!

The inn is a nice old renovated building, charming in parts. It's located on Route 1 and easy to get to. Not much of interest nearby to walk to. There's a good cafe across the street. Food in the dining room is vastly overpriced, and the menu pretends to things it doesn't deliver. Further, they won't honor the price that travel webs is quoting, so be careful with that. If we should ever decide to return to the neighborhood, we'll definitely choose another spot.

This is a lovely old inn, with a great atmosphere and perfect location. Unfortunately, my visit was cut short, and I didn't get to try the restaurant. However, my room was very comfortable (although the decoration was slightly on the sparse side), and I couldn't have been greeted more warmly. I'll definitely be staying here again. Cozy, snug and very inviting! (And the bed was so-o-o-o comfy!)
