Nice place to stay. Clean and reasonable price. However staff and management is rather unprofessional. After having a problem with my reservation, the front desk clerk said she cannot do anything about it since it was booked by a 3rd party. 3rd party said hotel has to agree to make changes and of course they didn't. Tried to speak to the manager but she never would come out of her office. Apparently they are constantly on business calls and such. Usually a manager has all the power to make their customers happy, but this manager would not even speak to me face to face, just a message on the phone that she can not do anything about it and yet again passed the blame on to the 3rd party which blamed the hotel again. I was offered a secial rate for another night but was already charged an extra day and checked in to my room and was not even there yet. The only reason I would not stay here again is because they lost my trust and did absolutly nothing to help me with my problem and was forced to take further action to dispute the extra charge which is a huge inconvenience.

Hotel is was good price. First the good: terrific king bed, easy location-can reach nearby places to eat and shop and can reach DC easily considering it's the suburbs, nice staff. Now the bad: Kitchenette was just that-microwave, very limited dishes, small refrig, no dish soap, dishwasher, etc so once you use something, you are left to place it in the sink and leave it there. Made me wonder if the hotel staff came in and washed the dishes or just carted them away to the kitchen. Pool wasn't open at the end of April (open only in summer but this wasn't stated on Travelocity). Breakfast was scrambled eggs plus something (sausage or french toast or home fries). Fruit every day. Muffins and toast or bagel. Oatmeal packets, 3 kinds of dry cereal. No waffle maker. No managers reception as promised on yhe website. Room was small (1 bedroom suite) and no seating for eating (unless you wanted to sit at the desk or fold up the sofabed . Hard to feed 2 adults and 3 children. Also Kitchenette was severely lacking in counter space. Just making sandwiches was tough. Mold in the shower (and I am not a neat freak, but something black growing between the tiles at eye level is hard to ignore). Still, the price was tough to beat. And as stated, the hotel staff was terrific. A more accurate Travelocity description is needed. If I had known that there was not a stove, I would have brought different food. Also, the small refrigerator was very small and low to the ground making it impossible to take food out and place it on the counter (I ended up setting items in containers on the floor before moving them to the counter-yuck!)

I rate this as the best hotel for business. They have a business center that I had the convenience of printing items needed for work and. The breakfast was very good. They have a wide variety of items, Waffles, cereal, bagels and other items. The spa was great to come back to after a frustrating day at work. Thanks for the great stay.
