The Club Del Sol consists of modern condominiums around a central pool with a waterfall. It is only ~200 m (~y250 yards) away from the beach. Our condo had two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, two bathrooms, a balcony and a washer/dryer. All bedrooms and the living room had air conditioning. The property was very clean and secure (fenced and a guard on the parking lot). The Club Del Sol does not have a restaurant or breakfast/coffee area. Not an issue because the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a tiny grocery store just across the street. Once in a while we could hear loud trucks from the nearby highway but overall our stay was very relaxing. The Club Del Sol is not yet in the database of the rented GPS (insted enter North 9 35? 56.0? and West 84 37? 2.1?) , or on the local tourist information map. Or, just follow the highway to the south end of Jaco and you'll find it shortly after the gas station on the right.

Have stayed several times over past couple of years. Last visit was September 2008. Roomy, fully equipped condos. Staff is great and can arrange any kind of tour or transportation for you. Close enough to Jaco to get to restaurants and stuff. Far enough away so you don't have the beach bum chaos from the other end of the beach. South end of the beach is a block walk and is by far the best part of Jaco beach. No rip currents, good for everybody including average surfers and people who like hanging out. Always stay in #5, a 2BR condo on the ground floor overlooking the pool. Has DVD player and the owners have provided DVDs, books and games. Very comfortable with really nice furniture. Could easily be my home!
