We've stayed at many Annapolis hotels during the past 2 years. The best value, bar none, is the Annapolis Spring Hill Suites. The management pays attention to details. They bend over backward to give great service. The rooms are always clean; the common areas are spotless: the breakfast buffet is always well stocked. The rooms are well sized and come equipped with new flat screen televisions, microwaves, and mini-refridgerators, and as a bonus the windows will open allowing fresh air in. The managers and staff are friendly and will help you with any request. The front desk has directions and assistance with anything you might need. I travel for business 50 weeks a year for the past 15 years and this is the best place I have stayed. It is truly a home away from home whether for business or pleasure while you are visiting Annapolis or Washington, DC.

Our first room had a "mis-functioning" air conditioner. no matter what you set the room temp, it never got the temp below 80. One call to desk, the clerk tried to tell me how to operate it !! duh!!! then at 1100pm they suggested we change rooms (we were already in bed!!!). this kept my wife up most of the night. The next day we complained to desk. they sent in succession a maintenance man who couldnt figure it out and a house-keeping lady who was clueless!! Finally they gave us a new room. Behold, the a/c worked!! Rest of stay is excellent, AND, when explaining all of this to mgr. on checking out, he REFUNDED us the amount of money for the "lost night". Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for good location, excellent breakfast, accomodations (when working) are very good. seems like a newer hotel, so maybe still getting the kinks out. we would come back.

everything great but front desk our last day...
02/03/2008We had a great weekend...everything and everyone very, very nice...great breakfast...great lifeguard, etc, only thing that made it not perfect was the woman at the front desk ...
we had a GREAT weekend...everything and everyone very, very nice...great breakfast...great lifeguard, etc, ONLY THING that made it not PERFECT was the woman at the front desk our last day there.....we had just come nack from the naval academy from a two day swim meet (very early mornings..) and just wanted to relax in the pool and whirlpool before heading home....she would not allow us to use it as it was after our checkout time....
there was NO one in the pool area, no one really in the hotel...most everyone had checked out (it was also the weekend of the Army v Navy game)...would it have killed her to allow the three of us (my sons age 8 & 10) and I to use the facility?????
any way...otherwise it was great and we will stay there again for our next meet weekend in annapolis...
