We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed a marvelous meal with all that you would expect from a luxurious hotel such as the Hotel Diamond. The rooms were lovely and cleaned to the nines. The staff was helpful and very friendly, they made us feel like we were at home.

The room was very small. The furniture was too large for the size of the room. EXample : the furnished bedside clock took almost all the space on the table, the lamp base took up the rest. The view out the window was of a brick wall about 6 or 7 feet away. The sink in the bathroom had so many amenities on the surround there was no room for my toiletries or my husbands shaving gear. There was on the sink a coffee maker, basket with coffee, sugar, etc., tray with shampoo, conditioner, etc. It was a pedestal sink so the surround was very narrow. Both my husband and I had a small suitcase, but there was no where to open them up and leave them open. The lobby had very nice Victorian furniture. The breakfast was good also. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Not at the hotel, but in the town, was a very nice restaurant connected to the Sierra Nevada Brewery.

I used the Hotel Diamond for a regional meeting for my sales team. It was so convenient to have the meetings downstairs. The continental breakfast has many options, and included made to order omelettes. I took advantage of the free gym passes and worked out at In Motion. The banquet staff went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. Everything was very organized. We had speakers fly in from all over the country and they all had positive things to say about the hotel. We will definitely be coming back to the Hotel and Johnnie's restaurant.

They have low rates for the smaller rooms but the larger rooms are also well worth the money. It was extremely comfortable and very clean. This hotel has been beautifully renovated and is a classic. Business services are good. They have access to a local health club so that is the only downside--you have to go offsite for a workout but everything else is very worth it! I stay there whenever I am in the area.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Diamond in Chico, CA. Everyone was very welcoming, and the newly renovated historic hotel has kept the ambience of the past, and was beautifully renovated throughout. Our room was very lovely, classy, and sparkling clean. We enjoyed a continental breakfast in the lovely restaurant of the hotel.Right in town, walking everywhere makes it the perfect place to stay. We are returning f in a couple of weeks and will be staying there again.
