I loved the hotel!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were standard size which was OK with us since we spent alot of time in the pool area and the deck (deck was a large area around the back of the building with a view of an extended yard and pond). I will definitely revisit and maybe next time take advantage of the spa.

We went to Galena for our 33rd wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Ramada Inn and were very pleased. The rooms were spotless and my husband felt like he had never slept that well for weeks due to the wonderful beds (mattresses). The pool and hot tub were very nice also. We loved the country decor in our room and would recommend this hotel to anyone . The Main Street is just a short driving distance from this hotel.

We chose the Ramada Galena for a get-away and found it to be delightful. The lovely 2-story check-in area was tastefully decorated and we were greeted by a friendly employee. Our room was comfortable and clean as was the bath area. (Only minor issue was the sink didn't drain very quickly) The indoor pool is large and we especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub. Continental breakfast is a real treat with many choices both hot and cold. There is a large fire-pit behind the motel which can be viewed from a spacious deck. A pretty pond is at the foot of the small hill also and we enjoyed walking around there enjoying nature and the abandoned walls of what had been some kind of stone structure. We got a great deal and would definately recommend this motel.

I ran out of hot water when I showered at 9:30 on a Sat. morning. When I complained to the front desk her response was that the hotel was full and they run out of hot water when full. No apology, no effort to correct the situation. Then they wanted to charge me for the second nite when I wanted to check out early !
