  Belize was wonderful. Ambergris Caye was amazing!! Mata Rocks is not your best option for your stay. The rooms are small, lots of quirks (leaking ceiling, extremely hard beds), and the staff is lacking..... not helpful, at times even surly. We found better help in booking tours through some people in town.
