Fantastic location surrounded by huge limestone cliffs on 3 sides with beautiful views out to sea. Free use of kayaks, wind surfing equipment and snorkelling gear from the hotel. Boat ride is fine, don't listen to other reviews. The fact that the resort is secluded on its own bay is the best thing about the place. You can arrange a boat to come and pick you up at any time if you want to go to Krabi, you just need to give about 30mins notice and a long tail will turn up. The rooms are large and super nice, with lots of balcony space and great views. Choose a room on the upper level if possible. Take a Kayak to Raylay Bay and under the cliffs and into caves, it fantastic. The food is overpriced at the hotel, but that is always the case. Everything else is perfect.

02/24/2007Amazing hotel. very beautiful environment. the rooms are great. we had a vey good time and we are looking forward to come back again. boat transfer was perfect.

Arrived to find the ""pier"" that floats on top of water, not up to handling waves. We were scared (we are all sailors) and wet. Resort is marvellous.Food a delight and staff welcoming ..on land.Boat transfer on way home in calm seas left us wet..again and angry. Sea soaked clothes mixed with sandy feet on international flight was not necessary and left no confidence in skill of boat crew. There was no attempt to slow down or stop water entering boat. We had to hold on tight.It was a disgrace. We will never go back.

The hotel grounds and rooms were wonderful. Spa on balcony a unique touch. Some final construction continuing. Food exquisite and service will get better. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Spa menu and service recomended. However boat transfers were truly horrendous. On arrival the boat could not handle sea conditions and temporary wharf was akin to riding a rollercoaster. We were scared. We arrived wet...really wet. When leaving we were subjected to a wet wild ride that left us soaked for our flight home. No confidence in skipper of the launch. A poor way to end our holiday.
