    This is a nice basic hotel to stays with children. The pool area had a nice area for our 4 year old to be without being held all of the time and plenty of room for old kids as well. The towels were gone in the pool area. I asked at the front desk and they were restocked within a minute. The breakfast had a good variety of hot/cold items to choose from. The room was a nice basic clean room.

    WE STUMBLED ONTO THIS MOTEL BY ACCIDENT. IT HAS AN AWESOME SLIDE FOR KIDS AND ADULTS ALIKE. NICE SIZE POOL AND WHIRLPOOL. WE STAYED ON A SUNDAY NIGHT. WE HAD THE PLACE TO OURSELVES. ONLY ONE OTHER KID, AND THEY WERE JUST LOCALS USING THE POOLS FOR AWHILE. NICE CABLE TV SELECTION. AWESOME BREAKFAST

    I was in Appleton on business and stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to my business activities. I'm in software and on the internet regularly. While this hotel offered high-speed access, most of the time I could have gotten better Internet throughput with a dial-up connection. They don't have wireless so make sure you bring a patch cord or you'll be dead in the water. You might want to bring your own AirCard (cellular connection to the internet) just in case you want more respectable speeds.

    Breakfast was pretty good, although they could have been more on top of the status of coffee and miscellaneous supplies in the breakfast room. Several mornings, the coffee was either cold or empty and no one was around to check on it. Breakfast offerings included the standard continental fare; fresh waffles, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, and sausage links.

    I didn't get a chance to use the pool facilities, but they looked like they were nice and my kids would have enjoyed the water slide.

    There aren't many options for dining nearby if McDonalds and Hardees aren't your thing. I ended up going over to the West Side to the mall area for most of my meals.

    Extremely clean and a fantastic staff. I had not stayed in an AmericInn before and did not know what to expect. I am very picky when it comes to Hotels and the service and facilities exceeded my expectations in every catagory. I could not have dreamed up a more pleasant hotel stay. Continental breakfast was extraordinary.

    Our stay was great. The pool was awesome. The staff watching the water slide were great. We arrived early and our room was ready. We checked out late and the staff was great. Our children 8,7, & 5 years old loved the pool. Can't wait to go back.
