  The hotel was fabulous. The price was the deciding factor, very affordable when comparing to others in the area and what we got for the price. The location is a little out of the way. It is right next to the bullet train station but out away from the rest of Kobe because of that. Access to the Kobe subway is easy with an elevator right off the lobby; 200 yen to ride to Sannomiya, the main train station in Kobe (and lots of shopping). Lots of shopping and eating places in the floors below the hotel lobby. Hotel restaurants are priced very high. Room comfort was wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room having stayed at other hotels in Japan. English newspapers delivered to the door daily. Tea maker provided (no coffee maker). Offers lots of amenities we didn't even get a chance to use.
