Many issues - short staffed, rude staff, bfast bar ends earlier than advertised, lack of correct bedding, excessively hot water (and I like it hot) unfortunate because the hotel has potential.
Biggest issue - Manager let outside carpet cleaning company come into our room without notifying us, move and damage our clothing and luggage, leaving our room unlocked and unattended (the whole 3rd floor actually), and leaving the floors wet and sticky. Anyonce could have entered any room on that floor. No concern that they let me and my three children walk in to a potentially dangerous situation. Supposedly guests were called at 10am to notify them of cleaning but we had already left for the day, but had stopped by the desk on the way out and nothing was mentioned. When discovering the still wet floor after 3 hours, thought i would give them the benefit of the doubt and went out to dinner, the staff just told me they floors were not "that" wet - what a joke. Begrudgingly they moved us to another room.
I tried talking to the front desk - they didn't get it or care. Called 800# - apparently you can't get service after 5 and recording suggested talking to front desk - tail chasing. No manager the next morning at check you so I left my contact information with his front staff that he claims is very attentive but apparently they can not keep track of a sticky note. Wrote an email on their online customer service - no response. Call C.Service again - got a person, she sent an email to the manager. Manager finally contacted me - Hesitantly. I am not sure he grasped the seriousness of the situation. Do not stay here, many safer choices is this area. -

The room and bath were both very clean and large. I really liked the ""bowed out"" shower curtain so your shoulder don't touch it during your shower. Excellent Breakfast bar. Some of our youth baseball team stayed here and the kids enjoyed the pool.Would stay here again.

We have stayed at this particular hotel many times in the last several months, and I have to say, the ammenities, the breakfast, the rooms, everything is top notch! We have stayed at some of the the ""premier"" named hotels and honestly, this one is very comparable if not better than some! book with ease, great hotel!

We were visiting the Jacksonville State University when staying at this hotel. Absolutely wonderful accomodations. Rooms were spotless, each room had a refrigerator and microwave. The hot breakfast was delicious and everything was very fresh. We enjoyed the indoor pool and exercise room. The hotel walls were very thick! We actually had two rooms right next door to each other.We heard absolutely nothing through the walls! We all slept soundly, Highly recommend.

We booked two rooms and were more than pleased. Our rooms were right next door to each other. I know one of our rooms got on the loud side one afternoon however the other room heard absolutely nothing. Very, very good insulated walls! Breakfast was wonderful. Hot and cold items were available. A new shopping area across the stree was very convenient. All rooms come with a mini refrigerator and a microwave. Best hotel if you're visiting the Jacksonville State University campus. It's only about 20 minutes away. "
