  We had a very bad experience at Yankee Suites in Pittsfield and would not recommend staying there. We were awakened in the night to find dozens of bed bugs crawling all over the bed and ourselves. It was a very disturbing experience.
  
  Amazingly, the hotel management tried to deny that this was even a problem. The bed bugs did seem to be an unusual occurance at this hotel, but the way it was handled was very revealing about how poorly the hotel is managed.
