At the time we arrived we start our process to check in( the front desk) said that they dont have our reservation( we prepaid for 2 night),so I showed them my confirmation and have to wait for a while until they can find it. The hotel floor was very sticky with oil ( kerosene) and when we walk in, it print our footsteep. The next morning we asked the keeper just clean the floor with water but they just dont understand and keep doing the same thing.Restaurant is okey the server was very nice but again the chairs, tables all was sticky with oil. We finally asked the server why everything was sticky and she said the manager asked them to clean it with oil to protect the furniture from salt water ...very uncomfortable. The next day my boyfriend asked the front desk ( Laura) what is the best way to go to OSA PENINSULA.She made him wait for about 45 minutes and start to make lots of phone call. She said her friend have a 4 wheel drive car and it will cost $120/day for us to rent it there.(We have our rental car thru Travelocity). So the best way to go there is fly from San Jose to Osa Peninsula or take Pan American Highway from San Jose. We realized that she was making a deal with her friend so we can rent his car, so she can make some profit without telling us that actually we can drive from a nice scenic ocean drive that only will take 5 hours from Jaco to Osa Peninsula.Instead of doing her job as a hotel front desk , give us the right information she make us drive 10 hours thruu San Jose-Osafor her own shake to make some profit from foreigners.Bad experiences.
