Nice room, friendly staff, nice pool, good breakfast. All the reasons I like staying at Hampton Inns, and this one was no exception. We stayed in a suite, which is basically two regular hotel rooms attached, with one dressed as a bedroom and one as a living room/kitchenette, and the extra space was very nice when travelling with kids. A few mechanical blemishes (broken toilet paper roll holder, slow drain in the kitchenette sink) were unexpected in a hotel that's only two years old, but overall it was a very nice room and very comfortable stay. It's nicely located at the north end of Guelph just a couple blocks from the Hanlon (and just down the road from my parents), glow-in-the-dark minigolf, and a movie theater are within walking distance.
