This was mine and my husband's 20th wedding anniversary trip. The hotel desk clerk was very friendly and quick upon checking in and out. The maids were very quick and efficient at their jobs. Great vacation spot. Location was great. Hotel was quiet. Probably the only drawback to this hotel was that the beds were pretty firm. Almost felt like we were sleeping on a piece of plywood.

Stayed here three nights. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Different breakfast each morning. Convenient to Freeport and environs. Traffic noise from adjacent freeway was a downer, but even I (a light sleeper) got used to it. Sound-dampening screens might help.

Great Place to stay. Hotel Staff very helpful. Couldn't have asked for a friendlier or more sincere welcome. Room was excellent,extremely clean and had both micro wave and small fridge which were appreciated. Breakfast contained mutliple options anywhere from fruit and juice to hot cereal or eggs and sausage. Coffee on tap 24/7. Highly recommend this hotel based on our experience. September -2008

Although we are very familiar with the area, we were not familiar with the other hotel options. It was difficult finding a room for this particular weekend because it's what they call "campers weekend" when families come to drop off thier children for camp. So I researched high and low all reviews to see what I could trust. I am a stickler for cleanliness. I prefer hotels that offer full breakfasts and rests. on site, but my #1 priority is that is has to be clean and this hotel was impecable. I was very pleased with this hotel from that standpoint. Hotels in the area were running up to * a night and for a 5 night stay that just wasn't feasable. If this is in your budget or a good deal, take it. The only thing I would say is that if you are traveling with children keep in mind that it's a standard room so there is no separation of space which can get tense staying for 5 nights and there is rain. The breakfast was basic and fine. Held us over each morning. If you are looking for a comfortable and clean place to stay and this fits your budget I would totally recommend staying here. I would stay here again. The bed was super comfortable and the room is up to date.
