We booked 1 month in advance 2 bed nonsmoking room. When we got there we got 1 bed and a smoking room! The staff was not helpful at all. I have stayed at Hiltons in other cities, even ioverseas and I just have to say this Hilton is NOT a Hilton. The outside looks like a Comfort Sutie. The Cleanliness was really bad, room service trays were left in the hall way for at least a day. Charlottesville is a great place to visit, but please try to stay somewhere other than this Hilton, it's not worth it. There are other fine Hotels in Charlottesville to stay, and my next trip to Charlottesville, I will be staying in one of the others.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Charlottesville Hilton. It is modern and up-to-date. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast coupons for a lovely breakfast buffet and the pool. The staff was friendly; the room was comfortable. We also noticed the nice extra touches, such as a chocolate chip cookie jar that was available in the afternoon, the exercise path that circles the ponds behind the hotel and the business center that we used to research our activities in the area.

My husband and I were in Virginia for a quick 2 night stay. The Hilton Garden Inn surpassed our expectations! Our room was clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The only drawback was our view....we were looking right at the roof. Aside from that; the staff, the room, the cleanliness of our bathroom, and the comforts, were A+++. We'd go back to Virginia in a heartbeat. And when we do, we'll stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Charlottesville. Thank you!

I understand the hotel is fairly new. It was very clean, great location if you want to tour local hot spots such as the downtown mall, Monticello, Michie Tavern, Ash Lawn-Highland... all within a few minutes drive. We used the hot tub one evening after being on our feet all day it was very nice. An outdoor pool would be an added plus. We ate breakfast at the hotel each morning and it was delicious, wide variety so it is sure to please everyone from the healthy eater to the pastry lover. Very good coffee too! The room was very large, very clean and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The staff were all very polite and ready to help you in any way they could. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The Garden in is a little out of the way, but once you see the property you won't want to stay anywhere else. The beds are really comfortable, the rooms are rather large and the flat screen TV adds that extra touch. I def recommend this hotel if staying in the c'vill area. I doubt I stay anywhere else again. Plus it's brand new.....built in October.
