An Experience from Hell !!!!!!

First of all I have to admit that I never got to complete this stay. Part of my review that was required in order to get me to this page was from a previous stay when this motel was under prior management. I have to say that I think online travel website has to share some of the blame for this wicked experience. I arrived to a dark motel office at 11:45 PM following a flight that arrived in the city at 11:30 PM. No place while I made my reservation did the motel or online travel website say that the office hours were 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, but that's what the sign in the office read. I rang the door bell a full 15 minutes with no results. I tried to call the motel using the number online travel website gave me on my confirmation sheet. It was the wrong number. Next I tried to call online travel website on their toll free number. I was put on hold for at least 15 minutes before my cell phone went dead. I plugged in my charger to an outlet on a pole in front of the motel and stood in a snow bank in near zero weather while my cell phone charged some more. I never got the motel or online travel website . I gave up and went all over town looking for another motel. I finally found a room at the Fairfield. Great people, rates, and room there. By 2:30 AM I finally calmed down and warmed up enough to get some sleep. The next day I went back to this motel to give them a real blast. The poor guy on duty was nice enough but not a manager. I got my money back and a $25 coupon from online travel website. Not enough !!!!!

If we had known what we were getting into we would never have gone there. It was dingy, and the carpet was so dirty we didn't take off our shoes. We also wore flip-flops in the shower. The place was seedy and we did not feel particularly safe there.
