  I was coming back to IL after a ski trip with friends when I found myself in the middle of one of the worst snowstorms I had ever experienced. After sitting on I-90 for two hours in white out conditions and being detoured around several turned over semis and cars off the side of the road I decided getting home that afternoon was just not worth it. I got off at the next exit and thanked my lucky stars when I saw the Comfort Inn in DeForest. My room was clean and comfortable.The staff went above and beyond to accomodate others like myself by bringing in sandwiches, making pizzas (no restaraunt on premises)and keeping the bar open so we could all comminsurate. They even gave rooms to the staff that nite so no one had to drive home in those conditions. The next morning we found out that those that continued on, got stranded just past Madison and spent 10 hours in their cars overnite on I-90. We received a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful eating area, information on road conditions from a top notch staff and a good nites sleep. Thank you to all the staff at the Comfort Inn in DeForest!
