Not bad if you can tolerate the following. Better beds, and no microwave. The room was decent, location is great and the people are pleasant but the kitchen was VERY outdated with No microwave, We have an 10 month old and warming a bottle up, lets just say we went old school - boil water! So OK we got past that minor issue. Now the beds well lets just say sleeping in the minivan was on my mind by the 2nd night. They were just down right uncomfortable then the 2nd night - mind you - fresh sheets right? Wrong there was sand in them! and we weren't even under the covers since they made the beds. Do not attempt to sleep on the sofa bed unless you weigh under 70 lbs.The pool was a plus, yeah it closed kind of early but not an issue. I think I would spend the extra money for one up the street the next time I go. I a pinch this will do for someone who has to be at the shore.

They are preparing for demolition to make way for a condo. Paint is peeling, rooms are not ready when promised, and tennis courts have no nets with grass growing up through the cracks on the court-almost Wimbledon like. The Rusty Nail and The Patio are closed. Too bad-they were great places to dine. If you're in the market for a 2 bedroom condo, just hand over 267,000.

We stayed here after seeing hotel on American Express travel website, and trusted that it would be nice. We arrived late at night, there was no staff, however they left a key for us. When we found the room, no lights came on at first, then finally, they came on, only to find that one of the lamps was broke. There was not a normal bed in the room, but a murphy bed, and a sofa bed. The murphy bed was most uncomfortable and stained up!!! The sofa bed had a dirty sheet and was even more uncomfortable. There were two pillows for a family of four, as well as only two towels in the bathroom. The toilet seat was old and worn out, and no shower head in the shower, plus the water backs up in the tub. No toiletries, except soap. The carpet was sticky and the room stunk. It also hasn't been updated since the 70's. There is a kitchenette, however no microwave. The fridge let off a loud boom sporatically, every ten to fifteen minutes. I was actually afraid of bed bugs in this place. The neighbors were young guys that liked to party and continued to do so from 12 am until 4am, mind you the walls are paper thin. There is no one on staff at night, so we couldn't even request to change rooms. Needless to say, we checked out as soon as the sun came up!!!! It reminded us of a hotel room from a bad horror movie!!!!!!! We've come to the conclusion, that we will never stay in a place again, that has "Motor Inn" in its name.

The hotel is in a great location. Just far enough from the hustle and bustle. It was a little pricey but it was to be expected being right across from the beach. As far as room amenities, if you want to iron any clothes, take one with you. None available. We got their at night and we were going to need one for the next day. Had to do a bit of searching to find one (Shop Rite in Rio Grand). The pool closes too early. We spent our days in town and weren't able to take swim at night. All in all, it was a relatively good experience. We would stay there again.
