We planned to stay only one night however our truck broke down and we needed to wait a few days for parts and ended up at the Hyatt Place Milford for four nights and five days. The staff, helped to find mechanics as well made every effort to assist in our quest to get home to Hamilton (Canada)... amazing customer service and support when most needed!

The Hyatt Place Milford is a great hotel. I was amazed at how friendly the staff was and how modern, clean and beautiful the hotel looked. I visited this hotel 6/18-6/20 and it was a pleasure. The room was amazing, the food outstanding, the staff incredible. I would recomend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Our stay at the Hyatt Place in Milford CT was throughly enjoyable. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was large and very spacious with a sitting room, small refridgerator, desk, 2 beds and a large flatscreen TV. The breakfast offered a vide variety of food and the hours it was available were good giving everyone from early to late risers the opportunity to eat. We plan on returning to Connecticut in June and again in August and both our trips we will be staying at the Hyatt Place in Milford.

We were very surprised by the size of our room for the price we paid. It was huge, with two double beds, a comfortable wrap around pull-out couch, and a large HD TV. Everything was immaculate and fresh, the staff was extremely friendly and amenable, and it was conveniently located right down the road from I-95 and downtown Milford. The housekeeping staff didn't even knock on our door until after 10AM. We really enjoyed our visit here.

This hotel meets all expectations as described in other reviews I've seen. It is convenient to a mall :) and other stores, restaurants, New Haven, West Haven (Jimmi's on the beach is a great family restaurant, not very far from hotel), Stratford. It is newly constructed, so all amenities are very nice. The food was ok, nothing real special. The room is as you see in the pictures - very nice layout, the bed was excellent - loved all the pilllows and the comfort of the bed, the sofa works well for relaxing after work and is spacious. The only 2 issues I have, which are very minor, were there are no vending machines on the floors. You have to go down to the cafe/lobby to purchase drinks or snacks and they only have Pepsi products - no Coke! But they do have Starbucks coffee, so that made up for no diet coke! The other problem is there were no microwaves in the rooms, although the staff said the kitchen staff could heat something up for you. The design of the closet made it difficult to reach back to the end of the closet, for those having lots of clothes to hang - it was a little awkward. But the staff were very professional and courteous and friendly and I would recommend this hotel to anyone - the price was very reasonable for the area $99 - $129/night. Very nice!
