This was the worst front desk service I have ever experienced! I called on the day of arrival to confirm a late arrival and pre register for a non-smoking room. I was connected to someone by the hotel operator who answered Yeaassss. I said is this the front desk of the Horseshoe? They said yes can you hold and never came back on the line. My husband called and asked for the manager, got voicemail, left a message and he never returned the call. I then called the 800 number and they guaranteed to fulfill my request. I arrived at the hotel that evening and was greeted with rudeness. They had not held my non-smoking room and said they never guaranteed them. We asked if the manager was in they said yes and then came back and said he had stepped out. We had to insist that the reservation be cancelled at this point because they wanted to charge us. We went across the river to a lovely room and newer hotel on the boardwalk for the same price.

We stayed in a gold suite priced about *for king bed. Room was nicely furnished, even had 3 TVs (one in the bathroom). Nice whirlpool tub, huge sofa, table & chairs. Room was quiet and no noises from adjacent rooms. Lines were somewhat long at check in, but similar to what you would experience in Vegas. Staff was friendly, but businesslike. Bellmen very friendly. Valet parking was free. View outside window was not glamorous, overlooking roof of the entranceway and beyond were commercial buildings and such. But, who goes to Bossier City for the view? Gambling areas decent. Shopping OK, but not a lot of them. Internet hookup (with tax) was extra fee, about $20 with taxes which seemed pricey. Overall, a good experience and great for the price.

We have stayed here on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed it. The rooms are great as is the service. The dining is excellent with a choice of four restaurants, including the buffet. The casino is large with a wide variety of slots and table games. I would recommend it to anyone.

No pool, and the dining rooms were pricy. The room was excellent size with 3 TV's, even one in the bathroom. The double sized tub had jets and operated perfectly. There was a fridge and small coffee pot in the room. The kids loved watching the planes take off and land from the local airbase, but we couldn't hear them at all. It was a very quiet room.
