My husband and I stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon. We did not arrive until about 10:00 at night, but the check in was easy and quick. We were pleasantly surprised that our room was quite large, had a fridge, and a jetted jacuzzi tub! Everything was very clean and neat. The internet did not work. We were right next to the exercise room and just down the hall from the breakfast area, so it was quite noisy in the morning. Overall I think it was a good experience.

I stayed here for three days in January 2009. I would have changed hotels if my schedule permitted. Renovations left my room missing hangers, fridge, microwave. These were corrected, however the very loud heating unit woke me up at night and the carpentry crew woke me up in the morning. No breakfast on site - have to go to Days Inn next door for coffee during renovations. Bathroom door would not stay shut, my ""suite"" was just a regular two bed room. Staff said the ""suite"" part was the addition of the fridge and microwave. No partition, no sofa or desk, no kitchenette. This was definitely not a ""suite"" deal.

The hotel was very convenient off interstate & to all local attractions/Mammoth Cave. (Visit Onyx Cave! Gorgeous & very personal!) This hotel was sold out, but staff was friendly & quick with special requests. Our young daughter thought the rollaway bed was more comfy than our king! We have experienced in other sold-out weekend hotels, the cont. breakfast is emptied of food after 8am, but the staff worked hard to keep it well stocked and clean. We did not swim in the hotel's indoor pool. It seemed larger than most indoor pools, but it was too crowded. However, we had lots of inexpensive fun at the small go-cart /arcade place across the street -- not flashy, just fun -- and the owner was on site to ensure it was family-friendly and safe. We would gladly stay at this hotel again. Btw... when all other websites showed this hotel sold out, I was able to get a good room at the BEST rate on travel website! :-)

I liked the room that included a desk and high speed internet connection. The indoor pool got colder and colder during the days we stayed. People were getting in the pool and jumping right out it was so cold. The guy at the front desk said he was going to check on the temperature, but the next day the pool was like swimming in ice water.
