  Kids loved the pool! Our room was on the third floor and the hallways were very hot with no ventilation. The room was nice with a balcony off the room and a pretty view. Staff was not too friendly. But eat the all you can eat pancakes for $2.50 they are good and filling. Pay for the shuttle at the KOA building to the lighting ceremony at Mount Rushmore it was very good. But try to get on the earlier shuttle otherwise you wait for the shuttle to come back when the area is closing.

  Palmer gulch is excellent resort and a great hotel. tons of stuff to do right there on the resort. you won't have to leave to have a great time!
