I made the mistake of suggesting this hotel to a friend based on other locations. When she arrived she was put in a dirty room. She was told a non-smoking room was an upgrade of $20.00. The staff was rude and unhelpful.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and was just as happy this time as the last. It's a great place to stay if you have dogs. The room with the king bed and fold away sofa is plenty large enough and comes with a fridge/freezer with a microwave. The decor is a little out dated, but we weren't there to hang out in the room we were there to enjoy the beach and weather. The bed was comfy and there was a good selection of TV for the night time. I will definitely book this hotel again.

We stayed there with our dogs for a long weekend in January and had a great time. This wasn't a 5 star hotel, but for what we paid it was very nice and in a great location. We will definately stay there again when we want to visit the beach with our dogs. I didn't notice any smells, or dirtiness that others have complained about. The room seemed nice and clean. It was a little older in style, but it was comfortable and clean and thats what matters most to me. If you are going to visit the beach this is a good location within walking distance of one of the main beaches on Hilton Head Island.

I was awaken at midnight from rowdy neighbors. I called the front desk and they did quiet them down. Then I closed the door to the bathroom because of a running toilet and the door locked on me. Luckily I was able to rig it open again. The sink was clogged, the drain in the tub wouldn't stay open on its own and the iron wasn't very hot. The person who checked me out never asked me how my stay was or I would have told them. If you're looking for a cheap family getaway and don't care about a very outdated room, and noise at all hours, then this is the place for you. If you're a business traveler who needs a quiet room you should look elsewhere.

It was very quiet for most of the weekend. We had a great quiet time at the pool and the beach is close enough to walk to. We parked and car and either walked or rode bikes. The bike rental place is close, as is a few restaurants. We had a great time until the last night, when some loud rude people moved in next door and would not keep their children quiet at 11pm. I called the desk and they called their room and it was quiet after that.
Very pleased. This is our third time staying here, and as always, it was a very pleasant vacation. We LOVE that we could bring our cocker spaniel. It's the biggest reason we stay here.
