Everyone thing was absolutely great! Except for the cleanliness of the hotel. My room had dirty shhets! I'm sure this was just an error by staff, but I was still quite suprised. Other then that the trip was joyous! I would certainly go back, and I recommend this hotel to anyone who is visitng the NYC area. Lond NYC- you're great!

This upper class manhattan hotel was anything but that! While I understand that there were NUMEROUS famous celebrities staying at the hotel I was shuffled around and hassled by staff over and over again even though I was a GUEST in the same hotel. I expected to be treated fairly whether I was famous or not. And when I went to ask the front desk a question I was told that by the employee that I was seen around as if he judged me and who I was not to answer my question. I found it rude and disrespectful. I am not responsible for who stays at this hotel besides myself, I should not have to be punished because a celebrity is somewhere on the premises, nor harassed about where I sit on the 2nd floor sitting room, which is open to guest. However, I do find it funny that the hotel did not ask the 50 or more NON-guest to leave the front entrance and sidewalk that blocked me from exiting my hotel or getting a cab. This hotel was over priced, the bar served a limited menu and no one was accommodating or offered to help. Managers constantly approached me should of I stood in one place to long asking me if I was a guest in the hotel, for my room key and my ID and then checked a list they carried in their pocket to make sure I wasn't lying. Do yourself a favor and book anywhere else in NYC and save yourself the money. This 4 star hotel earns about 3 for the rooms and loses 2 for the hospitality. I am not sure what business they are in but this isn't it.

The London NYC was a beautiful welcome to New York. The bedding was luxurious and the staff so welcoming and accommodating. The location is perfect for walking to theaters and shopping. If you want to spend a few more dollars, but enjoy quiet comfort, then this is your hotel.

I booked a 2 bedroom suite for my bridesmaids and I who came in from FL for wedding dress shopping. It was really special to have the two rooms connected with a lounge area and a private hallway. We drank champagne and laughed all night without feeling like we were bothering anyone. I looked at a lot of hotels and this was one of the few that offered a clever way of ajoining two rooms so we could all feel like we were together in a pleasant, private setting. There were also 2 amazing bathrooms and with 4 girls that is a must! The location worked well for our needs, although we ended up all over the lower half of manhattan at some point during the weekend. Only downside was that they wanted to charge for over 2 guests. For a 2 bedroom suite their should be a maximum of 4 without a charge! Honestly, we kind of slunk in because I didn't want to confront the problem but couldn't be paying those excessive fees for nothing.
