The room and everything in it are very clean. Everything works. The girl at the front desk was cordial enough. The only downside is it's 7 miles away from the main attraction of St. Augustine; Castillo de San Marcos. We found out after we got here that we could stay in at "Days Inn Historic Downtown" (less than a mile from Castillo) for the same price and they have 3 1/2 smileys. Not regretting much though. We're glad that we stopped here for the night. We'll see how they fair during season. We're just staying for one night, spend most of tomorrow in downtown then head home on the other side of the state.

Check in was smooth. It was Thanksgiving day and the clerk helped us find a restaurant open for dinner. Our room was clean and in good shape. We had 2 double beds. They were comfortable mattresses with down comforters and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water for our 4 showers in the morning. It had a single cup coffee maker that I didn't like and they only provided enough coffee for 2 cups. Not a good thing since we had 4 coffee drinkers in the morning but we made do. I had brought some 4 cup filter packs but couldn't use them. Breakfast was provided and included a waffle maker, grits, danish and cereal. There was some canned fruit cocktail also. It was a nice stay and wouldn't hesitate to book the hotel again to visit family. If it was for a vacation I wouldn't book it because it is so far away from everything. The only other thing on the exit is a gas station.

We had a great visit. It is right off the highway but not any noise. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. Also, the people working there were really helpful. I had spilled coffee on my suitcase and they gave me some quarters and had an on-site laundry that I could clean them. We will be back.

This hotel is on the exit with nothing right next to it-but you can get to gas station and St Augustine on the road its on without all the tourist jammed in. Pool clean and not busy. No complaints with room.desk staff friendly and helpful. I would return to this hotel if I go back to St Augustine.Not perfect but better than most we have stayed in.
