I booked a vacation for my fiancee and I and another couple through Travel online at this hotel. We requested a full kitchen in our room and by the photos on this website and the assurances of Travel online we were promised a full kitchen at $* a night total. However, after driving the 10+ hours to Daytona we checked into our hotel and were horribly suprised!! Our room was extrememly small with a tiny microwave and sink, cabinets that were falling off their hinges and a very small refridgerator even though we SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED a full kitchen. The maintence man was attempting to fix the toliet as we walked into the room!! Our room was supposed to have a sitting area and all we had was a desk, a table, and two broken chairs. Our "closet" had the doors propped up inside it and there was no where to hang out clothes in the "proper" closet. We had a subsititue closet that looked like it was formally a storage closet and had a door on the other side of the closet that opened into the hallway. The lock on the substitute closet was able to be opened from the outside with a key. There was old urine on the toliet seat also. I immediately called Travel online and after 3 hours of arguing with them they refunded most of my money however charged me $* for the 3 hours we spent in the room. The staff of the Oceanside Inn was very accommodating and helpful with a speedy check out. I will never stay here again.

The hotel did not have a complete dining facility as advertised and the view was of a condo outside the window, no balcony to enjoy the ocean breeze and view. It was OK but not what I expected for our short honeymoon.

Hotel was not a brand name and stayed there because of the $50 discount being offered. It's debatable whether the hotel is a good buy at even the discounted rate. Hotel IS on the beach. Room smelled musty. Room was generally clean, if austere. Bills itself as a ""resort"", but on a Saturday night in July the Tiki bar outside was shuttered and in need of repair, the pool may have been clean, but the stains suggest poor maintenance. The hot tub had a large amount of sand in it. Wi-Fi was free in public areas, but there was limited functional seating to use that in the lobby and not much privacy. No internet connection available in the room at all, cost or no. Bed was adequate, but nothing spectacular for comfort. ""Resort fee"" was minimal, and with unlimited DVD's it could be a decent value, but only one DVD allowed out at a time, and many of the most popular items were hard to come buy. Other than that and easy beach access there was little ""resort""-like to mention. It was basically an overpriced aging off-brand beach hotel. For over a hundred bucks you should be able to expect more. Hilton is only * more per night at the regular room rate and is much newer with likely much better amenities and facilities. Lack of light in parking area wasn't great either.

This was the first time that we stayed at this hotel and for the money that I paid it wasn't worth it. The room was big and we had a ocean front room but the room smelled like mold really bad and were not very clean. We will not be staying there again.

My husband and I went for our anniversary. It's a nice long walk from the hotel to the pier. The free breakfast was not that good. We had a nice ocean view from our room. overall it was a nice stay I would go back.
