I stayed at this hotel between 2nd to 5th July 2009. The friendly receptionist , X was the only positive about this hotel. Intending guests should be aware that they'll have to pay car parking fees of $15 per night, and that if two persons are using individual laptops in their shared room, they are charged individually for internet access. The food is dreadfully expensive, and the temperature in the corridors was freezing.A veggie burger was $15. The carpeting was old and dingy and dirty, and the wall paper was peeling.Towels old and frazzled. Surely, this cannot be 4 star. The worst Hilton I've ever stayed at. I'm very disappointed and will think twice before staying at a Hilton Hotel again. What you save on room rates you spend on the additional expenses. This experience has left me with a real bad feeling , as I feel that I was misled.

Lost my reservation and was full so had to go to the Wyndham. Had also reserved a meeting room in morning with breakfast and when I was (trying to) check in, they had no record of that reservation either and said nothing had been reserved. Blamed it on catering. When I came back in the morning to meet the rest of my party the front desk said they still had no reservation of the meeting room. We were about to go somewhere else when we asked to speak to catering directly. Turns out they did have the room and it was set up with the food, etc. So, if we had left we'd have been charged. Couldn't have been more disappointed with Hilton. Usually top notch. This bunch was not.

I went wiht my mother, we enjoy our time there, the instalations where nice, the pool clean, the staff very friendly, the food kind of expensive but good, also the berevages where kind of expensive, the shutle to and from the airport was fast, the only thing that I did not like, was that the hotel is far from downtown, and the cabs from a to it are more than 30 dolars per ride, so if your planning on going be prepare to pay a lot for transportation, better rent a car or get up early to get the bus, which are cheap, punctual but the ride is long. The best thing were the beds, the most comfortable beds that I ever used.

My wife and I stayed here for one night after our cruise. We called the morning of check in to see if we could get early check in and it was no problem. 11 am Checked in Concierge took our bags and we were checked in in less than 5 minutes. We were pleased with the service and the room (although we requested a smoking and got a non on the 3rd floor on the otherside of the hotel from the elevator bank) the room was very large, its not the newest hotel and does show signs of wear. They were also upgrading the fire system. Grounds were wonderful there is a private peninsula out into the man made blue lagoon, very nice little path plants benches and piped in music - we did not see the Manatee (there are some we were told). We ate a great buffet lunch (pricey but no more than a Holiday in) and went out to the pool side bar. (Have X make you a Miami Vice or fresh Mojito) it was a cool day but the pool was nice plenty of seats and the drinks were great. Room Service for the price was lacking, for $20 a plate of angel hair should be more than a half cup! but was good non the less. we enjoyed this hotel and would return maybe with a 2 full night to enjoy the pool area more.

The stay began by waiting for a second shuttle after almost 40 mins because the first one was too full. The bus stank of rotten egg gas and was overcroweded. Upon arriving I had to get my own bags and check in. The process took close to another 40 mins. I then get to the 11th Floor. So I am standing in the room and the lights don't work. I call a technician to the room and he explains that 'yeah the lights don't work in this room so you have to turn on lamps'. So for the remainder of the stay I have to walk around turning half broken lamps on and off. Then the best part. Try the club lounge appropriately located on floor 13. Sheesh, I am sure that the roaches get served before you do. Upon checking out I told the girl that it was my third stay there in three years and the hotel was the tiredest and worst I had seen it. She agreed and said they hope to start renovations in a year. It was the worst Hilton I have stayed at... closely followed by the Hilton in Tucson, AZ.
