The hotel was undergoing renovations during the time we were there, so breakfast at the hotel restaurant was kind of noisy. It would have been nice if we could've had breakfast included, but this was not the case. While the hotel is away from the main part of Key West, there was a convenient shuttle that would take you to and fro on an hourly basis and we never had a problem getting a seat. I reccomend this as parking can be a hassle. The hotel is also right across from Smathers Beach which is handy for nice walks or sunbathing. The front desk and other hotel employees were very courteous and our room was clean, comfortable and the air conditioning worked fine. It was also nice to have the pool area to unwind in after a day of activities. I would stay again.

I will start out with some positive notes. The suite we stayed in was wonderful. It was large and had well maintained. The hotel is also directly across from the only real beach in Key West (there was a bit of a bacteria problem while we were there, though...). The pool area was also very nice...waterfall pouring into the pool and a bar very close by. Now for the bad stuff. Approximately 5 days prior to our trip we received an email about some construction at the hotel. The main entrance to the hotel was a mess. To get to any of the rooms you had to walk around the entire building area and you never knew if an area would be off limits or not. Every morning about 7am the workers would arrive and begin making a great deal of noise. We asked about accomodations/specials for having to deal with this during our vacation, but were told there were none for people who booked in advance. To top things off, I had to complete work that required internet access while on the trip. We were told that there was wireless available to ever room. After the 2nd night of no access, I contacted the front desk. They told me it was a temporary problem that would be resolved next day. The following day I went down to the front desk with the issue and was told that there were blind spots in the building with no access and that the problem was permanent. I don't know about you, but I don't like being lied to. I questioned the front desk attendant about this and he said, ""if you have a problem, write a complaint."" Well here it is. There are plenty of other hotels on the island. Try them!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we loved every minute of it. We were there for 7 days. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff was super friendly- always willing to help or go the extra mile. The have a Shuttle Bus running every half hour that goes downtown that you have to sign up for, the beach is right across the street. If you ask the shuttle bus driver to drop you off in a different location than normal, they will. They dropped us off at the Butterfly Conservatory. The pool was great, hot tub was nice and warm, not to many kids at all. The restaurant was great. We had meals from there at different times though out our trip for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Everything was great and we are planning a return trip in the near future.

This hotel was great. The rooms were very nice and clean. We loved our suite. The staff was great. They were very nice and friendly. They offered a free shuttle to downtown. They also offered several reasonablely priced activities to guests that they setup for you. The hotel is right across the street from the beach.Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone.
