I have stayed at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel twice within the last four months, once with my family while I was on business and once by myself on a business trip. Both stays the hotel and its staff exceeded my expectations. From the valet parking staff to the front desk staff to the room staff, every need that I or my family had was addressed immediately and with a smile. For those traveling the Philadelphia to view American history, the hotel's location is ideal.

Hotel is within walking distance to all the historical sites and cool dining and night spots. The place is modern and has a nice relaxed atmosphere. The downside is the hotel's staff. Room service was undependable ;bathroom wasn't cleaned one day; soap had to be requested;. Service at breakfast restaurant not attentive enough. Concierge was at a lost to advise us where the best restaurants were; gave us a photocopy with a list of suggestions. These negatives didn't detract that much from our stay, but didn't enhance the experience. Staff needs to be managed better.

We stayed for one night with our 2 kids to see sites in Philadelphia and to swim in the pool. We were very happy with the hotel. It is easy walking distance to all historic sites and good restaurants. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool was excellent and very warm. Rooms were comfortable, basic but nice beds. Our only complaint was that they were understaffed for breakfast and it took a while to get expensive but mediocre food. Also the parking is very expensive $35 for the night plus tips for the valet (who were extremely helpful and nice.)

Stayed there for the first time in October with my-laws and wife. The location is very convenient, rooms were clean, and quite, bathroom is somewhat small. Overall found the hotel to be somewhat above average, staff was nice. Parking is easy with valet but expensive about $40/day. Plan on staying during Thanksgiving at a much discounted price then the first time.

The people at the front desk were nice. The maids were also nice and helpful when I needed to swap out the coffee for de-caf. The problem was the rooms weren't all that clean. The carpets needed to be scrubbed and I really wasn't happy with the comforter on the bed. One of the big problems was the shower head in the bath. It was so close to the wall that I kept banging my arms when I showered or washed my hair. .
