the Hilton Anatole is lovely but you are pretty much trapped there unless you want to pay a $* cab ride to town. There are only two places within walking distance to eat that aren't hotel restaurants, a Denny's and a burger place. Everything is as you'd expect at a Hilton -- nice but way overpriced. Making things worse were staff at the concierge desk who were overtly rude in attiude, they got sarcastic when my husband asked for a phone book (they don't have any in the rooms). I was there for a conference so not much choice. If you do stay there, make sure to visit the little koi pond on the grounds if you want a peaceful break.

The hotel was in a bad area of Dallas, there was not anything close around, no shopping anywhere except at hotel, very limited places to eat two close to hotel , and I can't belive a hotel of this size does not provide a free airport shuttle or free parking for their hotel gurst (with all the surrounding hotels providing this service, you would think they would) I think they are just too greedy for the almighty dollar.

My wife and I spent a Sat night at this wonderful, sprawling hotel. We were on 25th executive floor (tower) in a corner room that overlooked the Dallas skyline. Our room looked brand new and was big and had huge shower/bath. Exec lounge open all weekend and had very fresh breakfast on Sun morn. Hostess very accomodating. Desk staff met all our expectations perfectly.

I visited this past weekend and I had a great time in Dallas, Tx. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton, never thought a place llike this would be affordable for me but I've been redirected. i will make full effort to only stay in the Hilton from now on. I enjoyed the guest, and the staff were absolutly wonderful to us. Fully worth the time, effort, money. I've upgraded and I'm loving it.
