My sister and I took our 86 yrs. old dad to NY to see his sister at a nursing home. He also wanted to see the city.My husband and I stayed at the hotel 3 years ago with our 2 teenagers. Bottom line the hotel is good for everyone.The location of the hotel is perfect. We walked to the Rockefeller Center. The view from the Top of the Rockefeller Center (Top of the Rock)was amazing. We walked to Central Park and took a Carriage ride with dad. We also took the double decker bus ride and dad was able to see the whole city from the top of the bus. We walked to the Winter Garden theater and saw Mamma Mia. We also walked to the 5th Ave shops.The hotel was super clean and the staff was very friendly. My dad loved it!! I highly recommend the hotel if you want to see the city but can't walk a lot. Everything is so close. The best part...next door to the hotel there is a deli that is open 24 hours. The deli has a 24 hrs.hot and cold buffett. The prices are so cheap for NY city!. You can get a bagel and cream cheese for $*. You can get 2 eggs, ham,bacon or sausage, home fries and toast for $*! After a long night, you can stop at the deli and grab some fruits before you go to your room. What you spend on the hotel, you will save eating at the deli . The food at the hotel's restaurant is expensive, $* breakfast buffet. If your flight comes early or if your flight leaves late, the hotel provides storage for your luggage for $*a piece. We are already making plans to take my in-laws in the spring.

I travelled with my children and all of us would give this hotel a great rating. It is in an excellent location. Our room was on the 29th floor, it was very clean & very comfortable. We ate in cafes around the area. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was AWESOME! The deal on got on the internet was better than it was advertised. Very clean, open, friendly and very close to everything. The only drawback was the fridge. There was a fridge in our room so we went and bought a few things at a deli for that night and the next day. We found out the next day the fridge was not on. I left a note for the maid and she left me a note back that to plug it in cost extra.... never had that happen before in a hotel, but now I know! The room was worth having a fridge in there that you coldnt use.
