We were recently at this hotel while visiting our son, who was graduating from boot camp. It is a mile from the base so it was extremely convenient. The staff really made you feel at home and made you feel like they appreciated your business. Having never been to Texas before, we had alot of questions, the staff offered very good advice on where to go for meals, and what routes to take. The hotel was clean, and well taken care of. We had requested extra pillows and towels, they delivered them to our room by the time we had unpacked and settled in. When our reservations were made, they did not note that we needed a handicapped room. When I ask at the front desk, they apologized and immediately changed our room. We stayed there 3 nights, and couldn't ask for better accommodations. The hotel and the staff were wonderful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone that would be visiting the San Antonio area.

My stay in texas was for the graduation ceremony at lackland AFB. This hotel was clean, close to the base and truely an oasis from the heat. We experienced temperatures in the 100's every day and this was are only place to really cool off. The pool was a welcome retreat at night when we would have to leave our airman on base. The breakfast was always good, but the lobby was a little hot and always quite busy. The staff was friendly, helpful and always ready to help out with any problems.

My husband and I chose this hotel because it was less than a mile from Lackland Air Force Base and we were in town to see our son graduate from Basic Training. The room over all was comfortable. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The sink area of the bathroom was clean and open, but the closed portion contained a toilet and a very, very small shower only. This part was very cramped and the shower was not in very good repair, which surprised me because of the overall condition of the rest of the room. The air conditioner worked well and the rest of the room was recently remodeled. The hotel staff were very friendly, outgoing and helpful. They knew a lot about the area and the evnets that take place on the base. Breakfast was served in the lobby every morning, but it was very crowded no matter what time we went. It was very hard to find a table and things were cramped, but the staff kept everything clean and stocked well. They even had another breakfast station set up on the other side of the lobby to help with the crowd. We were there Thurs. night to Sun. morning and graduations happen every weekend, so I assume that this is why the hotel was so busy. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again.

I found the staff to be very friend and knowledgeable about the area and the programs that dealt with Lackland Airforce Base. Clean rooms. Nice early morning light breakfast. If I was to stay in this area of San Antonio, TX. I would try and get rooms at La Quita Inns again. 5 star service in my book.
