At first the room looked clean when we arrived. However, I moved the recliner over a little and a hypodermic needle was under it. It was the type used by diabetics and still in sterile package. I am glad I didn't have children with me to find it. The coffee service was not replenished in the rooms when they came to clean on second day. Our dirty towels and washcloths were still there and no new ones were left. Bed was made and some of the garbage had been removed. Reported it as we were leaving as we didn't have time on the first day because of appointments we had to keep. As for exit signs, they were low enough hanging from the ceiling that my husband hit his head on it on his way to go buy coffee.

If I were the manager of that hotel I would be looking for a new cleaning crew. The room and the hallways had an oder. The corners of the room needed avacumed and we couldn't tell if the sheets need changed or not. This was the second time we stayed in this hotel in the last 18 mounths and the fist time was preaty good or we would have never gone back. Guess what that was the last,too many others to chose from.

The staff were friendly. The room was clean. There is continental breakfast, but the hotel is adjacent to a Tim Horton's if you want a little more protein. The free wireless was initially good but failed later in the evening with poor signal strength. Liked that the wireless was encrypted, not merely password protected. Oh, and the room smelled REALLY STRONGLY of carpet fresh or something scented. If my wife had been there we would have left. It was starting to give me a headache. But it was half the price of some other places. The location: I was disappointed because when I saw ""Airport"" in the name I thought it was on site. It's really a 10 minute drive away.

07/24/2008Exterior of the hotel is a bit worn and the surrounding area a bit economically depressed looking but room was comfortable and clean. overall a great value.
