The hotel is secluded and really quiet. We had noisy neighbors above us and the front desk went over and above to get us to a new room. The breakfast was wonderful and I would definitely stay here again. I would recommend this hotel highly.

10/04/2008Very nice hotel. nice location, lots of restaurants in the surrounding area, nice complimentary breakfast. friendly staff. if only the maid could speak english so we could get more creamer.

I stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas Fort Worth Airport South Arlington in September 2008. It was a very relaxing experience. Just driving up to it, you can tell this is a quiet hotel at its best. The staff is friendly and willing to answer all of your questions. The rooms are newly refinished and very spacious. The beds are very comfortable, and they give you plenty of pillows. The room had a great kitchen for cooking, refrigerator to chill drinks and stove for cooking. This is a place to go if you want to relax and a short drive to the airport. I would love to stay here again!

We were in a different R.I. the first night in Dallas and were unhappy. We took a chance on this one and were not disappointed. This is a R.I. of the quality you would expect with regard to service, cleanliness and size. The staff is friendly, happy and efficient. The rooms are clean and kept clean by the staff. We saw a sign saying that the hotel is going to renovate in early 2008, but the carpeting, furniture, etc are all in good to excellent condition already (fall 2007). The breakfast bar actually has some extras we have not seen before at other R.I. in other states. Also, there is easy access to I-30, and the surrounding community is nice/neutral (commercial suburbs). Tip: There are two buildings, but only one has a laundry facility--so ask for that building if you're going to need to wash clothes.

I love to stay at Residence Inn's because when they say "suite" they actually do mean a separate living and sleeping area, which is really nice when you travel with night owls who like to stay up late! This particular hotel was not the newest, but was very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was substancial, not some muffins and coffe like some continental breakfast. The pool was small but clean and just right temperature. The staff were friendly and had great recommendations for the area. Very convenient free shuttle to 6 Flags right at curb of property.
